Christmas in July: Designing Christmas Cards with Basic Invite

Okay, the other day I went shopping with a friend, and she bought a gift for her sister for CHRISTMAS. I was shocked because it is July, and Christmas was the furthest thing on my radar. However, she had a good point–it is never too early to start planning for the holidays.  That got me thinking about what I am going to do for holiday cards cards this year.  When Basic Invite reached out to partner with attorney attire, I was so excited to browse its website and design  holiday cards of my own.  If you are one of those people who are already thinking about the holidays, and enjoy sending out holiday cards, Basic Invite is offering 30% off holiday card orders!   Below are some of the things that set Basic Invite apart from other holiday card companies:

Almost Unlimited Colors

Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.

Custom Samples

Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. So nice– especially for people who are perfectionists, like me. Plus if you order in July, it will give you plenty of time to carefully design something you love before the holidays.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes

Basic Invite is just as colorful with its envelopes as it is with its invitations. Customers can choose from over 40 different envelopes, so that you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of Basic Invite’s envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.

Address Capturing Service

Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request friends and family’s addresses, which will be stored in the your account and can then be selected during the design process.  Leave a comment below if you want a Christmas card from me, and I’ll add your address to my contacts!  Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders.

Finally, foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.  I think this adds such a classic and beautiful touch to any card.

As you can see below, Basic Invite has more than just holiday cards; they also offer business cards, invitations, custom stationary, and announcements.

Here are some of my favorite designs:
